Have you checked to see if the motors are working by applying 10v to them? It would be unusal for both motors to go simultaneously but worth checking.Įdit: just seen your edit. With the board removed there should be 10v from the regulator in play and stop modes at point 103 or on the cassette switch. You could also try removing the Amplifier II board and checking the regulator voltage. According to the manual this should be 11.5v when operating and 1.1v when stopped. Then check the voltage across D102 (4.7v) followed by the voltage across C112. Also check the resistors in the 10v regulator in case they have been damaged. It's probably worth changing Q106, Q107 & D102 and cleaning the board in that area.
